The neocons believe that:

a) America is essentially good, while the terrorists are inherently evil and have no rational reasons to commit terrorism. [Terrorists want to be able to live in peace in countries whose assets are not being stolen by corrupt governments run by puppets of American oil companies, to choose their own leaders, and to be free of a sadistic and illegal occupying force.]

b) the war on terrorism is a comic-book battle between Good (America and our allies) and Evil (Islamic fundamentalism).

c) terrorism can only be stopped through military means.

d) Americans are morally superior to the rest of the world, and that God is behind their actions.

e) Muslims and Arabs are basically inferior and do not deserve democracy.

f) root causes should be ignored and America should exploit and colonize the Middle East.

g) it is okay to invade a country for its opium or oil while making the excuse that it the invasion is to find WMDs or stop terrorism. [The atrocities committed by soldiers and military contractors in Iraq is only increasing anti-American sentiment and the likelihood of terrorist attacks.]

h) Israel should be allowed to terrorize the Palestinian people and steal their land.

i) fear can be used against the people of the world by encouraging terrorist reprisals against the implementation of the American war on terror.

j) terrorists have succeeded in blackmailing a country into agreeing with their terms in terrorism occurs and an electorate votes for a party with a sane, constructive approach towards terrorism that doesn't involve "shock and awe." [First it was Spain, and this November, a terrorist attack will occur in America and if Bush isn't voted for, the terrorists have blackmailed America. This neocon view is total bullcrap.]
